3D Pokedex Fun

I decided to have a bit of fun using my newly printed off AR cards, and some photo's I had taken with the 3DS. These here are the resulting photos, and you can see I gradually improve at making it more realistic.

A wild Alomomola jumping out of the water!

A passenger watching a female Jellicent float alongside the boat.

The Captain's Oshawott was showing off it's skills with it's Scalchop.

Emboar is teaching the passengers how to dance.

A wild Hydreigon lives on these cliffs!

It's very territorial!
A wild Parent and Child Serperior and Snivy!
This Haxorus is looking after the church.

I thought this Thundurus was trying to attack us, turns out, it was only showing off.

I had to stop and take a photo of this flock of female Unfezants.

Awww, look at this cute family of a Gigalith, Roggenrola and a Boldore!

his cute Gothorita was showing me where all the Woobat's like to hang out at dusk.

This Chandelure wouldn't let me get past.

There was a bright light and lots of warmth, I took a snap shot of it, and realized I had taken a photo of Victini!

This Vanillish was busy entertaining the couch dwellers.

A wild Bisharp and Zoroark had a brawl in the middle of the road! Stopped traffic and drew a crowd of watching Pokemon and People.

Here we see a bunch of Flying type Pokemon above the street, while a Gothitelle and Munna wait to cross the road.

Here I was doing trippy multi-layered effects.

This cute Solosis was hanging out by a traffic light.

This was quite the excitable Tepig!

 More multi-layered effects.

Zekrom getting angry!

If you want to make these yourself, you first need a 3DS, download the 3D Pokedex (which is free), and use the 3D Pokedex AR cards I posted earlier to bring the Pokemon to life in reality.
At first, it will be difficult to make awesome pictures, but as you unlock more Pokemon through Spot Pass and sharing with friends, you'll also unlock new features of the Pokedex, such as allowing you to change the size of the Pokemon, the use of backgrounds, and how many Pokemon are allowed on screen at once.
For these, it helps to have unlocked the backgrounds, because you want to use photo's you have previously taken as the backgrounds.
When you have the background set, use the AR cards to make the Pokemon appear in the image where you want it to, use the size adjuster to make it fit the background, and start taking photos!

Get creative. I can imagine there are a lot of awesome photo's waiting to be taken, so get out there, and make them happen! :D

Breeding Dream World Abilities

If you want to breed Pokemon to have their Dream World or Hidden Ability, you first need to have the Female Parent have the Dream World ability.

Basically, this is how it works

Female with DW ability + Male without DW ability = A good chance for a Pokemon of the same species as the Female with DW ability

Female without DW ability + Male with DW ability = A Pokemon of the same species as the Female without DW ability

Female with DW Ability + Ditto = A Pokemon of the same species as the Female without DW ability.

So, only when the Female has the DW ability, and the Male is not a Ditto, will you get a chance that the offspring will have the same DW ability as the Mother.

So, when you're going to the Dream World, and collecting yourself some Pokemon, try to only take Female Pokemon from there, they're the ones you can breed with. :)

I hope this helps you on your Poké-adventure. Stay tuned for more useful tips.
Pokemon I will cover in the future: Sableye, Klingklang, Wobbuffet, Shuckle.

How to unlock the rest?

If you haven't already worked it out by now, you can unlock the remaining Pokemon over time by randomly getting them through SpotPass. Which just means, leave your 3DS in sleep mode while connected to the internet, and you'll automatically download 3 new Pokemon each day.

Another way is to trade with your friends who got given different random ones.

Complete QR/AR 3D Pokedex Cards

It took me quite a while to work out the pattern to these cards, but I did it, and managed to produce this set of cards, which is the complete Pokedex, excluding Keldeo, Meleotte (both forms) and Genesect.

You may want to save the image to your computer, and then zoom in on it working better.

As you might notice, a lot of the pokemon don't show up properly when they're scanned, not sure the reason for this, but I assume you'll be able to see them when they get unlocked properly.

Hope this helps! :D

3D Pokedex

If you have a Nintendo 3DS, you may have noticed that the 3D Pokedex has been released, available for free download.

This Pokedex allows you to view the Unova region Pokemon in 3D using Special QR Cards, or Augmented Reality Cards.

I had a fiddle with some cards I knew, and worked out the pattern for them.

Here's some cards that will unlock some Pokemon on your Pokedex if you point your 3DS at them.

These cards should unlock these Pokemon in your 3D Pokedex, Victini, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, and Zekrom.

For some reason, though I made the cards for all the other standard Unova Pokemon, only these 6 got unlocked properly. There seems to also be another set of cards for alternate forms, but I haven't yet found them in the over 65 thousand card possibilites.

Sorry for the slowness in posts. There will be more in future. Stay tuned. xD
